Having started my career in 1989 working for a firm of Oxford estate agents, really enjoying the property industry I decided to study for a property qualification. Initially gaining the NAEA Certificate in Residential Sales, I then went on to qualify as a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) in 2005.
Since then I have worked as a Management Surveyor gaining extensive experience & knowledge managing large mixed use portfolios within both the food retail and leisure & licensing industries.
In 2011 I was faced with the decision of whether to relocate with my company headquarters from Oxford to Warwick. Not wishing to commute additional hours I decided against relocating.
Having spent the last 5 years acquiring, refurbishing and managing my own residential portfolio, I wanted to provide the sort of inventory reports that I would be confident using myself. In 2015 I started Abbey Independent Inventories which I am continuing to grow.
